New Restaurant Alert: The Samgyupsal Grill
Another grill post! Randomly seeing
their tarpaulin hung on Santana Grove (and seeing the waiters happily
waving and beckoning me inside), I decided to try this newly opened
samgyup place. Maybe not many people knew about this place yet
because they started operating 3 weeks ago, but I liked it because
there are no horrifying queues – yet.

Unlimited pork and chicken for only
₱399 per person, and ₱499 for unlimited meat (Samgyupsal, Dwaeji
Galbi, Herb Samgyupsal, Woo Samgyup, Daepae, Guchujang, and Dakbol).

The set comes with free side dishes
which I truly enjoyed! It’s kind of off putting for a Korean
samgyup place to add on tempura and wing bites, but hey – more side
dishes, more fun!

They have Sukju Namul, Oi Muchim,
Kimchi, Eomuk Bokkeum, green salad, lettuce, and pickled cucumber.
For dips, they have sesame oil sauce, white cheese, and ssamjang.

I loved that they have separate stone
pots for the Gyeranjjim and Jjamppong. Nasunog lang yung eggs sa
side nung Romantic Baboy – maganda for presentation purposes pero
sayang din.

The meat was great and seasoned just
right; everything was tender and juicy. I appreciated that for every
batch of meat orders, they would change the grill pan. The meat and
side dishes were also served quickly; you just have to alert the
waiters for refill.
One thing I
could say that needs improvement is the place’s air conditioning;
it tends to get hot when more customers come in. But over all, it was
a satisfying experience.
