Liese Creamy Bubble Color in Milk Tea Brown

Salon services have been limited for who knows how many days and my hair color is no longer ideal. The time has come for me to try dying my own hair at home. 

Facing the need to tackle my root cover-up is not easy. What if I damage my hair? What if I chose the wrong color? What if I’m allergic? What if I get the color uneven? 

Researching online and reading reviews, I purchased Liese Bubble Hair Color. For me, this requires the least effort because you just have to use foam to color your hair – just like what we do in shampoos, right?

I got mine in Milk Tea Brown. Remember that your result will be somewhere in the middle of your natural color and the photo on the box.

TIP: Buy two boxes if your hair is longer than your shoulders, and apply generously. Kesa naman bitin ang kulay ng buhok mo.

For your safety, always read the instructions on the box and do a patch test especially if this is the first time you’ll be coloring your hair. Here’s how I did mine:

1. Mix the solution, do not shake. Just gently tilt them. You do not want bubbles to form in your solution, so gently turn the container back and forth.
2. Wear old clothes. No matter how careful you are, the foam can still get to your clothes and other stuff.
3. Gloves are included in the kit, bongga!
4. Squeeze the bottle to dispense foam. Since my concern is the root touch-up, I started applying the foam from the roots; they need the most color and processing time. And then I worked through the tips. Sectioning your hair helps getting the foam spread evenly.
5. Cover your entire hair with a generous amount of foam. You may gently massage your hair for the solution to seep in.

6. Leave the foam for 20-30 minutes then rinse thoroughly. Use your regular shampoo, then apply the Rinse-off Treatment.

After drying my hair, I am so pleased with the results. It’s cheap, quick, and effective!
